St Barnabas Press was formed in 1993 and to celebrate its first ten years of printmaking, the members of the Press have published a Portfolio of six screenprints, in a limited edition of 40. The Portfolio is published to coincide with the start of Cambridge Open Studios 2003 in July.

Members of the press Alan Grabham, James Hill, Fiona Thomas, Neil James and Kip Gresham have all contributed an image.

The new Folio has a print by Geoffrey Clarke, RA, who has been having most of his etchings printed at the press, and soon will be making some new screenprints here. His print in this Folio is the first screenprint that he has done, and reflects his artistic agility. It is very generous of him to take part and we are all pleased to see his print alongside our own.

One copy of the Portfolio has been presented to the Addenbrookes Hospital Art Project, and another to Papworth Hospital, in thanks for the open-heart surgery they performed on James’ wife Ai Min earlier this year.
